Our team Christina A. Marshall, APR Christina
Marshall is the founder of Vivant Communications Inc and has specialized in
strategic communications for 20 years. She
presently serves as a director on the board of the Canadian Public Relations
Society (CPRS), a national organization that represents the profession
of public relations through the establishment and maintenance
of high professional, educational and ethical standards. In
2008, Christina received the CPRS Toronto PR Practitioner of the Year Award. She
volunteered as president of CPRS Toronto from 2004 to 2006, supporting more
than 600 members in the GTA. Her work to enhance the practice of strategic
communications includes judging awards of excellence for more than 10 years,
chairing the 2004 CPRS Toronto Achieving Communications Excellence (ACE) Awards
and teaching strategic communications planning at Humber. She has been accredited
in public relations (APR) by CPRS since 1994. Her
journalism experience includes hosting award-winning community television
programs in Hamilton for several years. In 2006, Christina was a contributing
writer for an issue of the U of T
Bulletin that received a gold award for Best Newspaper from CCAE.
Presently she writes articles on health for seniors, in the column Write on
Health for Toronto's Beach Metro
Community News. Christina is bilingual in English and
French. Her expertise in influencing attitudes and changing behaviours has
its roots from Christina's degree in Nursing Science from
Queen’s University, and her experience in long-distance running. She
continues to build her teaching and coaching abilities through her role
as a ski instructor. Associates Vivant Communications has a virtual team
of proven associates from across Canada. The composition of each team is
based on the client’s unique needs.
